Located in the heart of downtown Versailles, Kentucky the Aldenberg Hotel will bring an elegant white tablecloth steakhouse to life with a new and exciting hospitality group where we will pride ourselves in exquisitely refined classic American steakhouse fare. We are looking for eager and professional applicants to add to our growing team.

Silk's Steakhouse is seeking a highly motivated and skilled bartender for our new restaurant in Versailles. We are looking for the wow factor, and skilled individual in the art of mixology. 
The Bartender reports to the Restaurant Manager and works in a team environment with other F&B professionals, including barbacks, bartenders, servers, dishwashers, cooks, and chefs.  It is critical the person in this position possess a background in advanced bartending techniques, has a natural ability to manage time, and a second-to-none knowledge of beverages and cocktails or the overwhelming desire to learn.


As a bartender, you will be responsible for creating memorable guest experiences.  You will be responsible for the timely and friendly delivery of food and drinks. In depth menu knowledge is necessary to ensure safe service to guests with allergies and restrictions.  Ongoing beverage tasting and training will allow you to expand your knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits.  You will have the ability to collaborate on seasonal menus.
All of our service teammates are expected to be reliable and responsible.  You will arrive changed, polished and mentally ready to work on time.  We put an emphasis on treating all of our teammates just like we treat our guests- giving a smile, a helping hand, and a willingness to jump in to assist in any situation. 

You will also actively develop trusting and transparent relationships with your peers on the service team and other associates of the hotel.  As a team member within Single Barrel Hospitality you will work with a phenomenal group of peers who insist that you are collaborative, humble, experienced, and open-minded – no egos are allowed.
Physical Requirements:
  • Stamina:
    Bartenders need to be able to stand and move for extended periods, as many shifts involve standing at the bar for several hours. 
  • Lifting:
    Some bartending tasks involve lifting and carrying items like cases of drinks or bar supplies, which can be up to 50 pounds. 
  • Dexterity:
    Bartenders need to be able to handle small objects, like bottle caps, straws, and ice, and to pour drinks quickly and accurately. 
  • Physical Demands:
    Bartenders may need to bend, reach, and stoop to access supplies or clean the bar area. 
  • Coordination:
    Bartenders need to be able to coordinate movements to pour drinks, stir cocktails, and serve customers.
