Restaurant General Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our front and back-of-house operations. This role requires strong leadership, team development, and a deep commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining financial and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily restaurant operations including FOH and BOH.
Hire, train, and manage team members, fostering a culture of accountability and hospitality.
Ensure a high-quality dining experience that meets brand standards.
Monitor food and labor costs to achieve profitability goals.
Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Lead by example during service, stepping into any role when needed.
Address guest concerns with professionalism and urgency.
Develop staff schedules and manage labor effectively.
Collaborate with ownership or leadership on strategy, marketing, and promotions.
Qualifications:
3+ years of restaurant management experience (GM experience preferred).
Proven leadership and team development skills.
Strong understanding of financials: budgeting, P&L, cost control.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
Experience with POS systems, scheduling tools, and restaurant management software.
ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred.
